Acai Bowl
Updated: Jul 25
Acai bowls have become a staple in our house. Whenever my girls are home, it's usually one of the first things we make together in the morning.
They're quick, colorful, and one of those breakfasts that feels a little special without taking much effort. We keep frozen acai packets in the freezer, grab whatever fruit we have on hand, and let everyone build their own bowl with their favorite toppings.
Some of us pile on fresh berries and granola... someone always adds peanut butter... and if my girls are making theirs, there's a pretty good chance you'll see a drizzle of Nutella.
More than anything, I love that these bowls slow us down for a few minutes. We end up standing around the kitchen catching up before everyone heads off to start the day.

A Few Final Thoughts
Sometimes the simplest recipes become the ones you make the most.
These acai bowls are fresh, easy, and completely customizable, but my favorite part is the few extra minutes they give us together in the kitchen. Everyone builds their bowl a little differently, and somehow breakfast turns into time to catch up before the day gets busy.
I hope these become a favorite at your house too.
