Easy Caprese Skewers

If I’m having people over and need an easy appetizer that looks pretty but takes almost no effort… I’m making Caprese Skewers.

I honestly make these all the time because they’re fresh, simple, and everybody loves them. Plus, they make the table look a little more put together without actually doing much 😅

Caprese skewers of mozzarella, tomatoes and basil on a wooden board, with a candle and bowls in soft focus.

All you need are:

  • cherry tomatoes

  • fresh mozzarella balls

  • basil

  • balsamic glaze

Just layer everything onto small skewers or toothpicks and drizzle with balsamic glaze right before serving.

That’s it.

They’re perfect for:

  • dinner parties

  • girls nights

  • Derby parties

  • summer cookouts

  • holiday appetizers

  • or honestly just snacking while you cook dinner

I love these because they feel light and fresh, especially when everything else on the table is a little heavier.

A few little tips:

  • Use fresh basil… it really does make a difference

  • Buy the mozzarella pearls if you can find them because they’re easier to assemble

  • Wait to drizzle the balsamic until serving so everything stays fresh

  • Sprinkle with flaky sea salt if you want them to feel a little extra

These are one of those appetizers people always hover around in the kitchen eating before dinner is even ready 😅

Simple food is honestly usually the best food.
